Who is a Motivator?

This weeks question is for ALL of our athletes. Who is going to be the motivator in your class? Who is the leader? Who makes everyone around them better?

There is usually one athlete in every class that seems to be more driven than the rest of the group. This athlete usually has great work ethic and focus. They are driven to learn and apply. Those athletes have an awesome opportunity to make a lasting impact on their groups by motivating everyone around them to achieve more. However this many of them don’t see this as a chance to build leadership, they only see this as a chance to improve their own athleticism.

Where I am going with this? Try to come into class and have an impact on the other athletes around you. Have a good work ethic. Motivate the other athletes around you, even if you do not know them. This will help you be a better team mate when you go to a club team or college teams were you don’t know anyone.

Look at someone like Tom Brady. People are always talking about how he makes everyone on the team around him better. Even if you don’t watch the NFL you know that the Patriots had very few big name players on their roster. But with the leadership and work ethic of players like Brady that team won 3 Super Bowls.

So I will ask the question again…Who is going to be the motivator in your class? Those of you who are making everyone around you better, I commend you! Those of you who think they can be a leader please show me. I will not hold you back. Not only will the class be much more enjoyable for everyone, but you may just develop some leadership qualities that you never knew you had!

Keep up the good work!
