Testing Service

CAP – RESEARCH BASED TESTING:

From time to time in our Long and Short Term Athlete Programs we will also look at specific things that can greatly impact a particular athletes performance. We will write up a short protocol, and design the study into the day to day workout of the athlete so we don’t take up time testing and retesting. This not only sets up a great teaching and learning environment, but also allows us to test and evaluate daily progress, not just beginning and end results.

Here are a few of the things we will test each quarter:

  • Upper Body and Lower Body Strength Maxes (Eccentric, Concentric, Isometric)
  • Pulling Velocity, Power and Weight (Compared to Body Weight to Calculate Efficiency)
  • Jump Squat Vertical, Power (Velocity, Power in weighted Jumping Exercises)
  • Max Velocity, Load in a Resisted Sprint (Power for Speed)
  • Movement Stability
  • Anaerobic Endurance, Power Endurance, Rate of Fatigue
  • Recovery Heart Rate, Max and Average Heart Rate during workout
